  • Reposition YWCA as an advocate for young women's rights and well-being in New Zealand to reflect today’s world and get all YWCA organisations aligned under the same brand.

Build and integrated marketing campaign that gives YWCA the right to talk about young women’s issues to drive change for the better.

  • Within my first 6 months I had done a national re-brand launch including a sold out immersive exhibition called 18x18 telling real stories from 18, 18 year old women sharing their concerns about their generation.

The exhibition reached thousands of across the whole country.

National media coverage in TV, press, radio, and requests to tour the exhibition across the country months after, printed collateral, social media campaign, and website launch.

This also generated ongoing paid partnerships, increases in donations and funding as well as ongoing media coverage where young women’s voice were centred. The 18x18 exhibition also got recognition from the prime minister Jacinda Arden.

Up skilling teachers

  • Launch an e-learning experience including videos and an integrated marketing campaign that help implement the new Digital Curriculum and prepare the NZ teacher force for the future of education in New Zealand.

  • One of the project I am most proud of from my time at The Mind Lab was delivering an MVP launch in three months, including an integrated marketing campaign that generated over four thousand registrations in the first two months after launch.

During the first year after launch an average of 1,500 teachers logged in to complete training modules.

The platform won Bronze in the category of Education App judged by the internal Global Education Reimagine.

  • Managed brand visualisation, project management and collaboration with external UX Agency to ensure project was delivered on time, on budget, and within scope.

This project is a good example of my responsibility for several similar projects with The Mind Lab, however this was one of the most successful ones.

Personal Projects

Petson - Online Vet Start up

  • When New Zealand was in lockdown because of the big C, I created a business concept from concept to tested prototype.

I called it Petson - the first online vet app in Australasia to help pet owners get help in the most convenient and affordable way.

  • In one month I went from idea to a user tested MVP and a customer list of 500 pet owners wanting to sign up for the product.

I was one of 600 start-ups that was accepted to pitch for investors for the VC fund BlackBird. I made it to the second to last round of getting accepted into their start-up incubator.

As a result of this I was accepted as a coach for their fellow student program, coaching students wanting to get into tech.

Hire The Swede Campaign

  • Help the Swede (Susanne) to land a dream job in a new country with no marketing budget or any existing network. Showcase the strengths in an authentic way and build a campaign that will be as timeless as IKEA’s furnitures to work for generations to come.

  • Launched in 2015, the campaign went viral on social media, with thousands likes and shares within the first couple of weeks, 100,000+ impressions and many job offerings from all over the world (one of them being The Mind Lab).

In 2020 (several years after the campaign was launched) the Swede was contacted by a former Coca Cola Executive to help him sell his summer house in Sweden after one of the biggest real estate agencies in the world had failed. The house sold within 3 months for the asking price. Yes, the Swede can sell a house too.

Fun fact;.. I now rank as #1 on Google when searching "hiring a Swede".

GRL PWR Podcast

  • Monthly listeners of 1500-2000 people.

Requests from women themselves wanting to be on the podcast.
